Linux, Networking

This week expands into networking foundations, covering IP addressing, subnetting, public/private IPs, routing, and essential protocols. Students also learn how networks operate in AWS, including VPC basics and network troubleshooting. Emotional intelligence and interview preparation are woven throughout the week.

Networking knowledge helps students understand how cloud resources communicate and how systems are structured in real-world applications. These skills are especially relevant for cloud support, DevOps, and infrastructure roles.

Hands-on activities include labs on Public and Private IPs, Dynamic and Static IPs, Troubleshooting Network Issues, and Creating Subnets in a VPC. Students also build and launch a simple web server inside a VPC, applying their networking skills directly in AWS.
